Health Informatics Student Organization

The Health Informatics Students Organization (HISO) is a student organization that serves as a forum for community-building, skill development, networking, and student projects in the growing field of health informatics. The Health Informatics Students Organization is open to those across the University who share an interest in health informatics.

Activities of HISO include internship panels, guest lectures from U-M faculty and industry representatives, professional development workshops, and student-driven entries in national competitions. Student members and officers come from the School of Public Health, the School of Information, and from other U-M schools and colleges.
